Jacquie Biggar 3

Please provide author name & short bio, book title & blurb, a short excerpt and all relevant links to the boxsets.

Jacquie writes Romantic Suspense with tough, alpha males who know what they want until they’re gob-smacked by heroines who are strong, contemporary women willing to show them that what they really need is love.

She has been blessed with a long, happy marriage and enjoys writing romance novels that end with happy-ever-afters.

Jacquie lives in paradise along the west coast of Canada with her family and loves reading, writing, and flower gardening. She swears she can’t function without coffee, preferably at the beach with her sweetheart. 🙂

Do you do book tours? If so who do you go through?

Do I do book tours? Yes, I’ve had tours through Goddessfish Promotions, Book Partners in Crime, and Magic of Books Promotions.

Who and what inspires your writing?

I’m inspired by different current events I read about or see on a newscast.

What does the future look like to you?

I have two new box sets releasing in May 2016, To Protect and Love and Summer Heat: Love on Fire. A novella in June, Summer Lovin’. A Box set this fall set around the theme of Christmas music called, Christmas, Love, and a paranormal box set set around life after death, still working out the title on that one 🙂 As well, I’m hoping to write and release the second novel in my paranormal series, Mended Souls, so it’s going to be a busy year!

One word of advice to your fellow authors?

Make connections. The more people in the business you can friend and learn from, the better off you’ll be.

What’s your take on fanfiction?

I haven’t had anything to do with it myself, but a friend of mine, Anna Markland, is doing very well in the genre.

What would you like to say to your readers and all who has helped you reach the point you’re at in your writing career?

I would like to thank my readers for taking the time to try out my books and leave reviews. This isn’t an easy business but the reward of finding new friends through the written word is priceless.

Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to do this interview with us!
